The Fire Station is two classes.

WS #4 by SHAUN CRAWFORD WS #5 by LaJUANNA CLARK

These two classes were planned to compliment each other.

BOTH workshops in 1” scale

WS #4. TWO STORY BRICK & STUCCO Fire Station or Room Box (1” scale)

This room box is a techniques class where students will learn how to make realistic looking brick and stucco using several techniques. LaJuanna Clark is offering a separate class to furnish this room box with an amazing assortment of period pieces, including a firetruck, to create a fire station, to create a fire station! Both classes are stand alone, but complement each other. Techniques learned in my class will include, stuccoing with spackle, paint washes, using a foam cutter, scoring brick in foam core, creating foam core individual Bricks, cork sheeting as a building material, using tissue paper as stucco, and how to create faux lumber with foam core and a wire brush. It sounds like a long list, but the techniques are very user friendly and easy to use. The piece is made from 1” thick foam core and bamboo cutting boards for the floors and roof. If brickwork is intimidation, this is the class to take! You will leave knowing how to make a room box from simple materials, and a finished piece! Be ready to get your fingers dirty with this one . ALL paints and materials provided by instructors. All skill levels welcome.
